The Scottsdale Camels have stormed back to take the AL West crown from their rivals, the Anaheim Hitmen. The Camels have now won back-to-back division titles and have the second best record in the entire SPL. Their reward for the late season surge will be the #2 seed in the AL and a Wild Card Round bye. The season ending injury to 20-game winner Jumbo Rivera was sobering news for the organization. The rest of the team will now be under extra pressure to pick up for his loss.
