1- Milwaukee Titans (29-11)- Early season returns on off season acquisition, LF Dewayne Thompson, are very good. He's been one of the most potent hitters in the NL. He is leading his team in home runs with 13 and RBI with 38. The Titans are also ranked 2nd in the NL in team ERA at 3.30. SP Mitch Shaw has been leading the starting staff. He is 4-0 in his eight starts with a 1.69 ERA.
2- Anaheim Hitmen (28-12)- The Hitmen have been stellar with both their pitching and their offense so far this season. The team leads the AL in home runs with 93. They also lead the AL in team ERA at 4.19. Veteran SP Ty Graves is off to the best start of his career. He is 6-1 with a 2.33 ERA.
3- Baltimore Revolution (27-13)- As expected, the Revolution are leading the AL in total runs scored. DH Delvi Borges leads the early MVP discussions. In 40 games this season, he is hitting .391 with 19 home runs and a league best 50 RBI.
4- Richmond Rebellion (27-13)- The surging Rebellion continue to make a case for themselves that they are a contender in the NL. The team is 2nd in the NL in home runs with 61. Veteran RF Amp Guerrero, at age 34, seems to be rejuvenated. He has embraced the role of elder statesman on the team. He has an OPS of 1.176, which leads the NL. He also leads his team in home runs with 10 and RBI with 35.
5- Pittsburgh Polar Bears (27-13)- As per usual, the Polar Bears have jumped out into the front of the NL East and show no signs of looking back. RF Eugenio Estrella has been everything the front office hoped he would be. He leads the team in home runs (12) and RBI (32). Rookie CF Del Chen, known for his defense, has been a pleasant surprise at the plate. He is hitting .271 and has stolen 13 bases while only getting caught once.
6- Vancouver Tragedy Twins (26-14)- After getting off to a bit of an up and down start, the Twins have been the hottest team in baseball. They have the longest current winning streak in the league at 8. They have also won 20 of their last 24 games. They rank 3rd in the NL in home runs with 56. RF Tony Chiba has been solid for Vancouver so far, hitting .289 with 11 home runs and 21 RBI.
7- Cleveland Lake Shores (26-14)- In the brutal NL East, the Lake Shores have carved out a place for themselves and are among the favorites of the teams in the NL expected to make it into the playoffs. As usual, C Matt Wolf and 3B Glen Dawkins are both producing at the plate. 1B Oswaldo Canseco has really been shining for Cleveland though. He is hitting .323 with 16 home runs and 38 RBI.
8- Norfold Whiskey Jacks (26-14)- With the emergence of the Whiskey Jacks and the Krazies, and the rebirth of the Stomp in Philadelphia, the AL East might be the deepest division in the SPL. The Whiskey Jacks have combined a potent offense (ranked 2nd in the AL in runs scored) and a ace in SP Hipolito Matos to lead them to their early season success. Matos could very well be the early front runner for the AL Cy Young Award. He is 8-1 with a 2.62 ERA while leading the AL in strikeouts.
9- St. Louis Redbirds (23-17)- Future HOFer RP Shin-Soo Nakamura has gotten off to the worst start of his stellar career. He has an ERA of 6.04 with 6 blown saves in 11 chances. Despite his struggles, the Redbirds are ranked 2nd in the AL in ERA and are cruising along at the top of the AL North.
10- Philadelphia Stomp (22-18)- The Stomp are enjoying a revitalization that has put them in the early playoff hunt. DH Clay Beckett has started off the season strong, hitting .308 with 11 home runs and 36 RBI. Veteran 1B Lou Carpenter is doing a nice job of proving that he still has something left in the tank at age 34. He is hitting a robust .352 with 6 home runs and 18 RBI.
11- Scottsdale Camels (22-18)- The torch in Scottsdale may now have officially been passed. DH Jim Andrews has surpassed 1B Clay Beirne as the most feared hitter in the Camel's order. Both hitters are having a strong early season though. Andrews is hitting .333 with 13 home runs and 32 RBI. Beirne is hitting .271 with 7 home runs and 24 RBI.
12- Kasas City Krazies (22-18)- The Krazies may be the surprise team of the early part of the season. Most pundits didn't expect this squad to do very much this season. SP Victor Tavarez is leading the staff with a 4-0 record and an ERA of 3.52. 1B Brent Corbin has provided the muscle in the offense with his 18 home runs and 39 RBI.
13- Chicago Gray Stockings (22-18)- The reigning NL Champs got off to a very solid start before getting derailed by a slew of injuries. Veteran RF Howard Hume injured his back and will miss most of the season. Veteran RP Johnny James was placed on the 15-day DL with a strained shoulder. Off season acquisition SP Pedro Franco has already been placed on the 15-day DL twice this season, with two different injuries. The Gray Sox have managed to keep their heads above water though, and are still ranked 3rd in the NL in team ERA at 3.40.
14- Honolulu Rainbow Warriors (21-19)- The Rainbow Warriors are trying to build off of last season's very successful playoff run. RF David Roosevelt, acquired from the Athletics last season, is trying to rebound from his very disappointing play during Season 14. So far, so good as David is hitting .273 with 9 home runs and 36 RBI.
15- New Orleans Jazz (19-21)- The Jazz are leading their division, the AL South, despite having a record below .500. DH Clarence Barnes could be the early season Rookie of the Year. He is leading his team (and all rookies) with 11 home runs while hitting .309 and driving in 24 runs.

19- Houston Buushwackerz (18-22)
