1 (1)- Little Rock Mockingbirds (62-33)- Highest scoring team in the NL, 3rd best team ERA in the NL, above average fielding team, best run differential. Best overall team in the league, and they don't look to be slowing down.
2 (10)- Houston Buushwackerz (59-36)- And I quote... " I think that the talent is actually under performing and expect this squad to climb a bit in the next power rankings."... Since those words were printed in the last power rankings, the Buushwackerz have been running roughshod over the league, compiling a stupidly good 25-6 record in that span and knocking the reigning WS Champs into 2nd place in their own division.
3 (5)- Milwaukee Boys of Summer (58-38)- Probably the only team in the NL right now that is at Little Rock's level. The Boys are 3rd in runs scored, 2nd in team ERA and a very close 2nd in run differential. The fielding isn't as good though, ranked about average for the NL.
4 (2)- Monterrey Gringos (58-37)- The Gringos have been struggling, going 14-17 since the last power rankings, falling back into 2nd place behind a surging Houston team. They still lead the AL in scoring by a wide margin.
5 (6)- Philadelphia Stomp (57-38)- Quilvio who? Despite losing the AL's best pitcher the Stomp have been going strong. The staff does miss him, as the team is ranked right in the middle of the AL in pitching this season, which is rare as the Stomp are normally one of the best pitching teams in the league. The offense has been carrying the team, ranked 3rd in the AL in scoring and 2nd in OPS at a solid .835. Its the only squad even close to Monterrey's OPS of .843.
6 (7)- Cleveland Lake Shores (56-39)- The Lakes Shores are the ultimate team, and are the quietest elite team in SP. The Shores had only two All Stars and won't have any Cy Young candidates or MVP candidates. Its just a solid, well rounded, well put together squad. The defense continues to be something special, with a +/- play ratio of 82-3! With Washington's surprising collapse this season, the NL East is theirs to lose.
7 (3)- Iowa City Badgers (55-40)- This team is right where you'd expect it to be. It boasts above average (but not exceptional) pitching, above average (but not exceptional) hitting and above average (but not exceptional) fielding. The result is a very good, but not quite elite, team that should make the playoffs, and have a chance to surprise some people.
8 (-)- Kansas City Mucklucks (54-41)- A glaring oversight in the last Power Rankings was the exclusion of the Mucklucks. They've been very hot of late, 13-7 in their last 20. The team has really been reliant on their offense, which is second in the AL in runs scored, as the team ERA of 4.97 really leaves something to be desired.
9 (4)- New Orleans (54-41)- The Jazz are another team that has seemed to be stuck in neutral since the last Power Rankings. They are 15-16 since. This team really should have a better record, and has had some bad luck. They are a top 5 team in both scoring and pitching and have the 2nd highest run differential in the AL.
10 (11)- Baltimore Revolution (52-43)- The Rev continue to trend upwards. They lead the AL in team ERA and in fielding, posting a Cleveland-esque +/- play ratio of 76-9. The offense is pretty bad though, one of the worst in the AL. Still, this team may sneak into the playoffs despite their offensive woes and really tough division.

13 (15)- Los Angeles White Sox (50-45)
14 (13)- Vancouver Tragedy Twins (49-46)
15 (9)- Montreal Rockets (49-46)

17 (16)- Chicago Gray Stockings (47-48)
18 (19)- Anaheim Peppers (46-49)
