Just some general information to keep everyone in the loop:
- I just did the $20 WIS Gift Card drawing. This season's winner is....(drum roll)... andyr104 and the San Diego Wiley Coyotes! Congrats to andyr. After we officially get going in Season 18, keep an eye on your site mail for your gift card.
- There were no MLB MWR violations for Season 17. As of Season 18, the two year min of 120 wins kicks in, in addition to the single season 55 win mark.
So.. for Season 18... Jacksonville and Detroit need to get to 65 wins each, Cincinnati needs 57 wins and Arizona needs 56 wins. Everyone else won enough games to only need 55 wins next season.
- There were a few MILB MWR rules violations. LA Sharks (jcairns) AA team failed to get to the required 25% and Anaheim Hitmen (peltier) AAA and AA teams failed to get to the required 25%. The VC decided that both franchises are now on probation. Jcairns will be on a single season probation, while Peltier will be on probation for two seasons (one for each team).
-I have heard back from everyone, and we will only have 1 opening next season! (insert cheers and applause for the commish here) dleming has decided not to return next season. And we wish him all of the best. I have posted a classified ad already (go bump the ad, tell them how awesome we are!) and am confident that we will once again roll over in less than 24 hours after the WS conculdes.
