Baltimore Wins 5th WS Title

Baltimore defeated the NL powerhouse Vancouver Tragedy Twins to win the franchise's 5 WS title. The Rev are now tied with the Polar Bears for most titles in SP history. They have also won 4 of the last 7. The franchise also has won more Pennants than anyone with 8 total trips to the Fall Classic, including winning the AL in 5 of the last 7 seasons. There will be alot of question marks surrounding Baltimore going into Season 21 however. The squad is largely an older, veteran laden one. Many question how much longer this current group will be able to maintain its Championship form. Also, Aurelio Diaz and the Rev were unable to reach terms on an extension last season. Diaz's agent has indicated that the superstar will test the FA market despite assurances by the Baltimore front office that the team will do anything to bring him back. Despite their success, its unlikely that the Rev will be the preseason favorites to repeat.
